Dr. Waung's undergraduate training was at Southampton University and specialist clinical training was in North Central London. He investigated the role of thyroid hormone on the skeleton with a focus on osteoarthritis and osteoporosis at Imperial College in the molecular endocrinology group.

Dr. Waung joined 乐鱼体育 in 2019 as a consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine. He runs general and specialist diabetes clinics including adolescent clinic, joint urology / men's health clinics, foot clinic, insulin pump clinics.

He works closely with the Thalassaemia unit and runs a specialist Thalassaemia endocrinology clinic that addresses hypogonadism, male infertility, hypothyroidism, calcium disorder and has a particular focus on bone disease.

He has a keen interest in technology and digital transformation.

�

He is part of the 乐鱼体育 Outpatient Transformation team.

�

Dr Waung is passionate about medical education and is the undergraduate teaching lead for endocrinology and diabetes.
