As you know, we have demolished the unused Waterlow Building in order to move our Education Centre so that we can make way for a new mental health hospital run by Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, who are relocating beds from St Pancras. These plans will mean better co-ordination of services for patients with both physical and mental health needs, providing person-centred care aimed at reducing the mortality gap for people with a mental health condition.

 

Before work begins, Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust is . They would like your views before they apply to the local authority for full planning permission. The first drawings were unveiled last September, but since then, plans have evolved to incorporate feedback from local residents, businesses and local authority planners.

How you can share your views
You are invited to see the updated plans and give your feedback. Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust representatives and the architect will be available to answer any questions. Please feel free to drop-in to one of the events at a time that is convenient for you:

Wednesday 19 February, 2pm to 7pm, Room 4, Education Centre, 乐鱼体育 Hospital

Monday 24 February, 2pm to 7pm, Room 7, Education Centre, 乐鱼体育 Hospital

 

Your feedback will help in achieving these goals as the architectural drawings and plans are designed with staff, patients and local residents in mind.
