The department of ophthalmology sees approximately 6,500 outpatients a year and works in conjunction with the Royal Free Hospital to provide an effective and efficient service.

Emergencies are seen during clinic times otherwise emergency care is available through the Royal Free hospital.

Day case surgery is carried out on the Edgware Community Hospital site. The surgery service is run by the Royal Free Hospital.
